please book flight tickets early in advance-
NZ is going to be the host of the Rugby World Champoinships in the time of the Congress.
Dr Papuni assumes that this will influence flight costs and a lot of other bookings for tourists!

There is a lot of information about Rotorua online. The major airports for international entry into New Zealand are Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

Auckland, the biggest city in New Zealand, is the closest to Rotorua and is 45 minutes flying time apart.
There are regular flights to and from Rotorua to most of the other cities in the country.
The venue for the 2011 Congress is 10 minutes drive from the Rotorua Airport.
The venue is also 10 minutes from the centre of Rotorua City. Traffic congestion is quite unheard of in Rotorua.

Driving time from Auckland to Rotorua is a comfortable 3 and a half hours, most of it through rolling green countryside.
